Methods of Payment

At Belden House our residents are private pay (usually through cash from settlements, trust funds, Worker's Comp, personal savings or family), and/or Regional Center payments.

Payment is made monthly, and is due on the 1st of each month. 
Inlcuded in The Fees
Belden House fees begin at $5,000/month, based on the need level of the resident. Our Intake Coordinator determines the need at the time of pre-admission, through observation of the client, consultation with family and professionals, and an acuity scale.

The rate includes the following:
  • Pre-admission assessment and report
  • Needs and Services plan, including goals, behavior and comprehensive care
  • Record keeping
  • Scheduling of appointments
  • Monitoring and distributing medications
  • 24 hour awake monitoring and supervision
  • In-house ADL assistance, by our trained staff
  • Assistance with the development of weekly schedules and activities for each resident
  • Transportation to and from appointments and activities
  • Telephone access
  • Fully furnished bedrooms
  • Linens
  • T.V. cable hook-ups in each bedroom
  • Food
  • Basic toiletries, cleaning and laundry supplies
  • Costs associated with mileage for staff driving clients to appointments and from local appointments
Costs Not Included in the Fees
The following costs are not covered:

Private telephone line 
Personal clothing
Medication
Medical and dental costs
Special equipment like wheelchairs, walkers, shower chairs, etc.
Transit fees
Personal toiletry items if resident chooses not to use those supplied
Other personal expenses
Personal food items and additional nutritional requirements
One-on-One support costs
Entry fees to outside programs (i.e. fitness classes, etc.)
Expenses incurred transporting residents to the airport or appointments not in the greater Santa Rosa area
Some activity and vacation expenses
